Mana Up and Build Native with Shopify present Hawai‘i Rising, a new program designed to meet the needs of our Native and Indigenous business owners in Hawai'i helping local entrepreneurs to build skill sets, confidence and resources in order to scale up and take their companies global. It is also designed to build a community around entrepreneurs and connect them to Shopify, one of the world’s leaders in e-commerce.
Our free program spanning February to October 2022 will offer monthly workshops, monthly in-person meetups, one-on-one office hours with Shopify experts, and access to Build Native with Shopify’s resources and perks as part of their global community. These monthly meetups will be held across the Hawaiian Islands so members can experience, connect, and learn from other entrepreneurs in their region.

To support our islands’ Native and Indigenous community, Mana Up is excited to strengthen our Shopify partnership by joining forces with Build Native with Shopify. Build Native with Shopify is a global initiative to provide Indigenous-identifying entrepreneurs with an authentic and culturally relevant platform.
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Bank of Hawai‘i to fuel the growth and success of of Hawai‘i-based small businesses. With Bank of Hawai‘i joining the Mana Up 'ohana, together we will create a new executive mentorship program, collaborate on sharing the stories of local entrepreneurs, and much more to come!
